Welcome to Accent Change (also known as Accent Change by Dialect Work), operated by Dialect Work, a sole proprietorship registered in California. By accessing our website or purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website, platform, or services.


1. Services Provided

Accent Change provides education and coaching services to help non-native speakers improve their American English pronunciation and speech clarity. Our services currently include:


Flagship 1:1 Coaching Program (16 Weeks)

A structured one-to-one coaching program designed to improve clarity and “American-ness” of speech over approximately 16 weeks. Clients are guided through three core phases:


Understand – awareness and knowledge of key sounds, concepts, and patterns

Drill – intensive practice and repetition to build reliable habits

Simulate – application under pressure in realistic, performance-style situations


The program typically includes up to two (2) 1:1 coaching sessions per week, along with assignments and daily practice tasks.


Assessments (free or paid) – standalone accent assessments, feedback, and recommendations.


On-demand digital courses and training materials – pre-recorded video content, audio drills, PDFs, and other resources.


Live group coaching / high-ticket group programs – when offered, these may include group calls, Q&A sessions, and community support.


Community access – online communities and/or forums for ongoing support, Q&A, and discussion.


All services are delivered online (for example, via GoHighLevel, Zoom, or similar platforms) and may include video calls, audio calls, messaging, self-paced content, and private or group communities.



2. Payments, Subscriptions & Billing


All payments are processed securely via third-party payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment information and authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the amounts due.


2.1. 16-Week 1:1 Coaching Program


The 16-week 1:1 coaching program may be purchased:

As a one-time payment, or

Via a payment plan (multiple installments).


By enrolling, you agree to the full payment obligation of the program, regardless of how many sessions you attend, unless a refund is granted under the guarantees outlined in Section 3.


If you are on a payment plan, you authorize Accent Change to charge each installment on the scheduled dates until the agreed total is paid.


2.2. Legacy Subscription Plans (If Applicable)

From time to time, Accent Change may continue to honor legacy monthly or weekly subscription plans for existing clients:

These plans auto-renew every billing cycle unless canceled.

You may cancel future renewals any time via your account portal or by emailing [email protected]

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial-period refunds are provided unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

If you are on such a legacy plan, the specific conditions communicated at the time of purchase will continue to apply, to the extent they do not conflict with these Terms.


2.3. Declined Payments & Account Suspension

Access to sessions, courses, communities, or other services may be suspended or revoked if a payment fails, is disputed, or is reversed (e.g., chargeback).

You are responsible for updating your billing details to maintain uninterrupted access.


3. Refunds, Guarantees & Cancellation Policy

3.1. 16-Week 1:1 Coaching Program – Money-Back Guarantees

Accent Change currently offers two levels of guarantee for the flagship 16-week 1:1 coaching program:


(A) 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee (No Questions Asked)

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the program within the first 30 days from your purchase date: You may request a full refund, no questions asked.


To qualify: Your request must be submitted in writing (email) to [email protected] within 30 calendar days of purchase.


If a 30-day refund is approved: Your enrollment in the program will be terminated. All future sessions and access to related materials and communities may be revoked. You will not be eligible for the additional 60-day conditional guarantee described below.

This guarantee is designed to remove initial risk so you can try the program and decide if it’s a good fit.



(B) 60-Day Conditional Money-Back Guarantee (Effort-Based)

In addition to the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, we also offer a conditional money-back guarantee up to 60 days from purchase, provided you fully engage with the program.

To qualify for the 60-day conditional refund, you must:

Attend All Scheduled 1:1 Sessions (First 60 Days)

The program typically includes up to two (2) sessions per week.

You must book and attend all available sessions scheduled for you during the first 60 days, unless rescheduled with adequate notice under the cancellation policies below.

Sessions missed or cancelled outside of the permitted window will count as missed and may disqualify you from this guarantee.

Complete Daily Practice Recordings (First 60 Days)

You must submit at least one (1) practice recording every calendar day during the first 60 days, via the designated platform or submission method specified by Accent Change.

“Every day” means each consecutive day within the 60-day period. Missing days or failing to upload a recording on any given day may disqualify you from this guarantee.

Follow Reasonable Coaching Instructions

You must make a good-faith effort to implement the drills, exercises, and feedback provided by your coach, and use the program materials as directed.

Request Within the Time Window

Your written refund request must be received between day 31 and day 60 from your purchase date (inclusive). Requests received after day 60 will not qualify for this guarantee.

If all conditions above are met and you still feel you have not achieved meaningful improvement or are not satisfied with your progress, you may request a full refund under this 60-day conditional guarantee.

Accent Change reserves the right to verify compliance with these requirements using our internal records (session logs, submission timestamps, platform data, etc.).

If a refund is granted under this guarantee:

Your enrollment, access to coaching, and access to related program materials and communities may be terminated.

You will not be permitted to re-enroll in the same program on a money-back guarantee basis in the future.

Important: You can only use one guarantee per enrollment. If you receive a refund under the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, you cannot also request a refund under the 60-day conditional guarantee.




3.2. Courses & Digital Products


Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the specific sales page:

All course and digital product sales are final.

No refunds will be provided for digital courses, downloads, or self-study materials once purchase is completed, except where required by law.

If a particular course or product includes its own stated refund policy, that specific policy will apply in addition to (or instead of) this section, to the extent there is any conflict.


3.3. Other Coaching Programs & Services


For other high-ticket group coaching programs, workshops, or services (that are not part of the 16-week 1:1 program):

Refund policies will be specified on the relevant sales page or in your specific coaching agreement.

Unless otherwise stated, no refunds are issued after the first half of such a program has been accessed, or after 14 days from purchase, whichever occurs first, except where required by law.


3.4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policies

a) 16-Week 1:1 Coaching Program Sessions

A perk of being signed up to this program is that you don’t have to give notice 24 hours notice but only 5mins notice to reschedule a session.

Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in termination of the program without refund.


b) One-Off Coaching Sessions (Outside the 16-Week Program)

24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

If you cancel/reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, the session may be forfeited with no refund.


c) Legacy Monthly/Weekly Subscribers

Legacy cancellation windows and policies (such as shorter notice periods) may still apply where explicitly agreed at sign-up. In case of any conflict, the policy communicated at purchase or in your original agreement will generally govern.


4. Access to Materials & Community


Program access is intended for the original purchaser only.

You may not share your login details, course content, or community access with anyone else.

Downloading and storing materials for your own personal use during and after the program is permitted where explicitly allowed, but redistribution is prohibited (see Intellectual Property below).

Community spaces must remain respectful and constructive. We reserve the right to remove any user for disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior, without refund.


5. Intellectual Property


All content provided by Accent Change (including lesson plans, drills, exercises, frameworks, videos, worksheets, assessments, and coaching methodologies) is the exclusive property of Dialect Work.


You may not:

Reproduce, resell, or publicly distribute program materials.

Modify and use the content as the basis for a competing program, product, or service.

Share or publish proprietary material outside of authorized platforms.

Any violations of our intellectual property rights may lead to immediate termination of access and potential legal action.


6. Disclaimers


Accent Change provides educational services only. We do not provide medical, psychological, or speech-language pathology services.

Our coaching is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical or mental health condition and should not be used as a substitute for professional healthcare or licensed speech-language pathology.

Individual results vary. Your progress depends on your effort, consistency, learning style, and other personal factors. No specific outcome, result, or level of improvement is guaranteed, even where money-back guarantees are offered based on participation.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dialect Work, Accent Change, and their owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or relating to:

Your use of our services, programs, or materials.

Missed business, professional, or financial opportunities.

Reputational, emotional, or interpersonal consequences related to your speech or communication.

Technical issues, platform outages, or third-party errors (e.g., Zoom, hosting platforms, or payment processors).

You use our services, materials, and platforms at your own discretion and risk.


8. Governing Law


These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
