Welcome to Accent Change (also known as Accent Change by Dialect Work), operated by Dialect Work, a sole proprietorship registered in California. By accessing our website or purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website, platform, or services.

1. Services Provided

Accent Change provides education and coaching services to help non-native speakers improve their American English pronunciation and speech clarity. Our services include:

1-on-1 accent reduction coaching (single sessions or monthly subscription)

Live group coaching as part of our high-ticket program

On-demand digital courses and training materials

Assessments (free or paid)

Community access for ongoing support and discussion

All services are delivered online through platforms such as GoHighLevel and may include video calls, self-paced content, and member forums.

2. Payments, Subscriptions & Billing

All payments are processed securely via third-party payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal.

Subscriptions

Subscription plans (e.g., monthly coaching) auto-renew each billing cycle unless canceled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account portal or by emailing us at [email protected].

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

High-Ticket Programs

High-ticket coaching programs may involve a one-time payment or structured payment plan.

By enrolling, you agree to the full payment obligation unless explicitly stated otherwise in a signed agreement.

Declined Payments & Account Suspension

Access to courses, community, or coaching may be suspended if payment fails or is reversed.

You are responsible for updating your billing information to maintain access.

2A. Subscription Plan Policies

The following policies apply to clients enrolled in monthly coaching subscription plans:

Session Rollover

Unused sessions from your monthly plan roll over to the next billing cycle but expire if not used by the end of that cycle.
Example: A session from March can be used in April but will expire on April 30 if not booked.

Time Off Policy

If your coach (Accent Change) takes time off (e.g. for travel), your booking window will be extended by the same duration.
Example: If 1 week of coaching is unavailable due to travel, you will receive 1 extra week to use any rolled-over sessions from the prior month.

These policies are designed to ensure you can fully use your purchased sessions, even during schedule disruptions.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

1-on-1 Monthly Coaching Plans

We offer a 30-day conditional money-back guarantee. To qualify, you must:

Book all of your allotted sessions

Attend all scheduled sessions

Complete the assigned exercises

Submit required practice recordings

If no measurable improvement is observed and all conditions were met, a refund may be issued at our discretion.

Courses & Digital Products:

All course sales are final. No refunds will be given unless stated otherwise for a specific product.

High-Ticket Coaching Programs:

Due to the depth of transformation and access provided, no refunds are issued after the first half of the program has been accessed or after 14 days from purchase, whichever comes first. Exceptions require written approval.

Cancellation Policies:

One-off coaching sessions: 24-hour notice required to reschedule or cancel.

Monthly Subscribers: 1-hour notice required.

No-shows or late cancellations may not be refunded or rescheduled.

4. Access to Materials & Community

Program access is intended for the original purchaser only.

Sharing login credentials, course content, or community access with others is prohibited.

Community behavior must remain respectful. We reserve the right to remove any user for disruptive or inappropriate behavior, without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, including lesson plans, drills, exercises, frameworks, videos, worksheets, and coaching methodologies are the exclusive property of Dialect Work.

You may not:

Reproduce, resell, or publicly distribute materials

Modify or use content to create derivative works

Share or publish proprietary material outside of authorized platforms

Violations may result in legal action and immediate termination of access.

6. Disclaimers

Accent Change provides educational services only. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Our services are not a substitute for licensed speech-language pathology or mental health care.

Individual results vary. Progress depends on effort, consistency, and many personal factors. No outcome is guaranteed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dialect Work shall not be held liable for any damages arising from:

Use of our services or materials

Missed business or professional opportunities

Reputational, emotional, or interpersonal consequences related to speech work

Platform outages or third-party service errors

Use our content and services at your own discretion and risk.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes must be resolved in the courts of Orange County, CA.
